Is it me or does he still have some muscles around his mandible? If so that's awesome because it tells that Skeletor's face does not "naturally" look like skull - his face and muscle was flayed from his skull as payment for his magical powers. Jaw muscles were left so he could still move his mandible and speak and eyes were left intact as well.
