Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Hey guys,

I know I have barely updated my DA page in quite some time & I'm kinda sad to see the major drop in pageviews over the last month. I'm sorry to disappoint. So I thought I'd update you on all the stuff that's happened so far. First off, I spent all of April getting my Beast Legion manga together & I'm sure you all know that part.

After that we were given a 1 month project deadline for a class project that had to be created using Autodesk MAYA for my term marks. Suffice to say that ate up alot of my time & I haven't been able to draw anything for the all May not even work on the comic. After that I have to submit another MAYA project by June 10th. Once that';s over I'll be back into drawing mode & have planned a few things that I'd like to do here on DA throughout June. I will also be opening commission slots by the 8th or 9th so stay tuned.

Apart from that, I lost my grandma who was 93 on the 2nd of this month so things have been rather gloomy.

But like I said come June 11th I plan on going all out with the comic as well as more pics here on DA & being more active here. I just want to thank you guys for your support that I've received here on DA & the support for my Manga.
